Full professor of Electronics, he received the “Laurea” degree in Nuclear Engineering in 1982. Since then he has been working on the design of innovative electronic devices, sensors and circuits for applications in the fields of High Energy Physics, X-ray detection, control of photonic systems and diagnostic tools for medical diseases. He is authors of more than 230 publications on refereed journals and holds 5 patents. He co-founded POLIFAB, the micro and nano technology center of Politecnico di Milano created to provide the highest technological standards in micro and nanoelectronics.
