Angelo Geraci received the M.Sc. cum laude in Electrical Engineering in 1993 and the Ph.D. cum laude in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1996 from Politecnico. As Associate Professor since 2004 at Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB), his research activity is mainly focused on digital electronics based on configurable devices (microcontrollers, DSP and FPGA). Lecturer of the courses “Sistemi Elettronici Digitali” and “Digital Electronic Systems Design” of the School of Industrial and Information Engineering and of courses for the PhD program in Information Technology, he is scientific collaborator of the Italian National Nuclear Physics Institute (INFN) since 1995 and on 2003 he has been elevated to the grade of Senior Member of IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Society. He is Member of the Directive Board and Deputy Coordinator of the PhD School in Information Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He is co-founder of two Innovative Start-Up companies, one of which also Spin-off of Politecnico. He is Auditor of projects on behalf of the Italian MIUR. He has been the proposer and manager of several sponsored joint research projects between the Politecnico di Milano and private/public Companies. IEEE Transactions Prize Paper award for 2004 by the IEEE Power Electronic Society and referee for several international journals including IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, Review of Scientific Instruments, Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research, he is co-author of more than 320 publications (ResearchGate) on refereed international congress proceedings and journals (2 papers on Nature).
