Gerardo Malavena

Gerardo Malavena was born in 1992 in Atripalda (AV), Italy. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering (cum laude) and the Ph.D. degree in Information Technology (cum laude) from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2017 and 2021, respectively.

His main research interests include the i) characterization and modelling of 3-D NAND Flash memory arrays and ii) reliability of power devices for galvanic isolation. During his Ph.D. period, he also spent a research period in Micron Semiconductor Labs in Vimercate (MI), Italy, as an external contractor.

He is currently a research fellow (RTD-A) at Politecnico di Milano, where he is teaching assistant for the course Electronics, M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics.
