Cristiana Bolchini has been teaching for more than twenty years Computer Science Fundamentals courses to freshmen, appreciating how students, who have never exploited problem solving and computer programming, learn to code and see the computer from a different perspective. Those who already have a background from the high school, have the opportunity to see the same concepts, possibly with a different flavour. Her research interests cover methodologies for the design and analysis of computing/embedded systems with a particular focus on dependability aspects (fault modeling, fault mitigation, anomaly detection and diagnosis) targeting heterogeneous and reconfigurable architectures (e.g., many/multi-core, FPGAs).
